A leading snack manufacturer needed a faster, more effective way to clean their production and packaging equipment- without compromising their strict dry-environment requirements.

The Challenge

Their packaging equipment demanded a dry-cleaning process, but the product itself left a notoriously oily, sticky flavour residue behind. Staff were spending excessive hours hand-cleaning with damp wipes and spray, and residue would accumulate in hard-to-reach crevices. The result: failed swab tests, repeated cleans, expensive staff overtime, and costly production delays.

The Solution

The GVC-18000 mobile dry steam generator. Using just 440ml of water per minute – with no chemicals and only 5% moisture left on surfaces – it gave staff the ability to reach and clean intricate areas quickly and effectively. The steam cut through stubborn oil and flavouring residue that manual methods simply couldn’t keep up with.

The Result

The impact was immediate and measurable. On the multi-head weighers alone – a task that previously required three staff members averaging 21–30 labour hours – was reduced to a single staff member completing the same clean in just three hours, with an improved sanitation result. Cleaning times became predictable, and line availability increased significantly.
